Gosh, who can believe it, we are in March, it doesn't seem two minutes ago since we were preparing for Christmas. Let's hope as the days get longer, the temperatures get warmer. I think we have all had enough of the cold now!

Xtreme lashes open evening
Sometime in March/April we will be holding an Extreme Lashes Open Evening. This is your chance to come along and watch the lashes being applied.
Our fully qualified and Xtreme certified lash technicians will be on hand to answer any questions you may have.
It's amazing watching the girls at work, an average person will have 80 to 120 lashes applied to each eye. Watching how they isolate individual lashes and apply the extensions is mesmerising.
There will be special deals only available on the evening. You can register your interest on line or by calling the salon. Places for the evening will be limited and on a first come first served basis.

Some of us have less than perfect lips, - but don't despair! Here are some tricks of the trade to help make your lips more balanced and beautiful.
* The best lip colour fixative? - A thin layer of Chapstick. The formula holds lip colour like crazy as it heals and protects.
* Powder lips also gives lip colour or gloss something to cling to for longer, smoother wear.
* For longer wear, blot lips after applying lipstick to set colour and remove excess. Add a thin layer of loose or pressed powder, then apply colour again.
* Turn down too much shine by holding a single-ply tissue to your lips and pressing a little loose powder through it - just enough will sift through the tissue to adhere to colour and reduce the shine.
* Turn up the shine with a thin layer of clear lip gloss over lipstick or alone.
* For high-voltage shine and colour, try a lip lacquer over lipstick or alone.
* For fuller, pouter lips, spotlight lip gloss right in the centre of your mouth.
* Keep matte lip colour from drying your lips - use a lip primer or lip colour fixative before you apply the matte colour.
* For evening special-effects, apply a sheer lip gloss in silver, gold or an iridescent shade over the lip colour.

Clients Corner
Jenny Malone from Hyde, has been a client with the salon many years. Having been a victim of skin cancer herself, Jenny is keen to put herself forward to help awareness campaigns in any way she can. You may have already seen Jen, a couple of years ago she participated in a fight against unsafe tanning and was featured with Doctors in our local press. To add to this, Jenny is now embarking on a sponsored "through the night" walk to start the launch of SHINE.
